As most people know we have attended WTAC in previous years with the infamous NEMO, a car that not only won in 2012 but well known for redefining the category and paving the way for a new generation of 'Open Class' cars.
It was exciting to be part of the NEMO build but for reasons beyond our control we no longer have a relationship with the car or anyone associated with it...
We didn't run any cars this year (other than some technical support for our MRT VIP Danny Irvine in his MX5 20B PP) and instead setup a shared display with Motorsport Brakes who were there promoting their WINMAX brake pads as well as the new line of 'CIRCO' racing pads.
Danny Irvine loving the extra grip from his MR Tuned suspension and giving it plenty in his purpose built MX5.
The girls with the Motorsport Brakes display explaining they only date men that use CIRCO brake pads..!!
Our display was made up of two cars, MRT Ambassador Shane Jones's FD RX7 and our MR Tuning 'Hero Car' the genuine 1990 ex Alex Caffi Footwork Arrows A11B F1. This is the actual car that came 5th at Monaco in 1990 driven by Alex Caffi.
He wasn't as successful the following year after they switched to Porsche power crashing out in practice.
As a special treat we fired it up so people got to hear what a an 'old school' Ford V8 F1 sounded like before the crazy plethora of technology we have seen since then. Needless to say, the crowd loved it..!!

The gorgeous MRT girls soaking up the atmosphere and making MR Tuning just that little bit sexier... :)
